cornice that is
We manufacture elegant and contemporary cornice designs from high-density extruded polymer foam (XPS), a material widely used in construction. Our material is of the highest standard, sourced directly from one of Australia’s leading manufacturers, and is made from up to 100% recycled packaging polystyrene, diverted from landfill.
The ease of handling of our light-weight alternative greatly reduces the labour and time required for transporting and installation, and they are much more cost-effective option than traditional plaster couterparts.

cornice faq
Why use XPS foam for cornice?
Modern interior cornice has no structural function, and is purely a decorative element. Its placement means that once it is installed it is rarely disturbed, so you can achieve the same aesthetic result for a fraction of the time and effort.
What are the benefits of using XPS foam cornice?
For the homeowner and DIY enthusiast, it’s the simplicity of installation. Our cornice product is easily transported, handled and installed by a single person using basic tools. For large scale projects managed by builders and developers, these benefits multiply – the time spent on installation, finishing are greatly reduced and the wait times between installation and painting are also shortened.
What is XPS foam?
XPS is a high-density extruded polystyrene foam utilised broadly in construction as insulation material, due to it’s superior thermal qualities. It is our prefered material for cornice manufacturing due to its relatively crisp finish compared to other polystyrene products.
Is it harmful to the envirnoment?
No, quite the opposite. Our cornice is manufactured from material made from up to 100% recycled packaging polystyrene, diverted from landfill. It is made with without the use of ozone depleting chemicals, and has a VOC count well below acceptable thresholds. Our local supply chain means no shipping across international borders, reducing emmissions associated with long distance transport.
